We have made the difficult decision to voluntarily and temporarily close The Canine Country Club. This is a difficult time for many people, and we have had a significant drop in attendance. We also want to be sure that our staff as well as our clients are staying safe and healthy. To our clients who have come this week, we thank you for your support during this time as we know many of you have been affected as well. For our clients who have been unable to come due to financial hardship or just being cautious of this virus, we absolutely understand and hope we see you after all of this blows over. We are unsure at this time when we will open back up, but we hope it will be soon.
With that being said, we do have an exciting announcement and something to look forward to when we are able to open again. We have been working hard this past month on a small daycare! Much like the rest of our facility it will be very unique! We aren’t going to say much more for now as we still have some work to do to finish getting ready, but we will be giving more details as we progress. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates!

We are complying with the recommendation to take all employees temperatures at the beginning of their shifts. We are still cleaning all high touch surfaces between every appointment and spacing out all appointments by 30 minutes at least.
We will also be extending all packages indefinitely. We don't want anyone to feel pressured to come in for an appointment if they are not feeling well or feel the need to stay home just because they feel they will lose out on money.
If you would like your dog swam or exercised and would prefer not to come in the building at all please call us and we can work with you.

Cancelling all group classes effective immediately. Following the CDC recommendation of no more than 10 people in a space at once we have decided to err on the side of caution and cancel all group classes and activities. This includes any classes with our trainers. Please contact the trainer in charge of your class with any questions or concerns regarding the future scheduling of the classes.
We will be spacing appointments out. We have also decided to leave a half hour between all of our appointments. This will insure that your time in our facility is completely private and will give us time to wipe down all surfaces and high touch areas between every appointment. We will be calling to move around some appointments that are currently scheduled that may have some overlap. We ask for your patience while we do our best to accommodate everyone's schedules as best we can.

Regarding Saturday Puppy Playtime with Susan Coleman: We are going to be adhering to social distancing protocols. We ask for only one person to accompany each puppy. If more than one person is with a puppy we will only allow one person to enter the activity room. The other people will need to wait in the lobby. This is to ensure that everyone has adequate room.

To our valued clients and their pups:
We understand all your concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are committed to keeping all of our clients safe. With all the extra precautions due to COVID-19 in place we want to make everyone aware that we are remaining open. We are referring to the CDC, WHO, and the Ohio Department of Health for updates and will be making informed decisions on the safest course of action for our clients and staff. We have the advantage at our facility of offering private sessions to our clients with limited person to person interaction if you choose. We plan to continue to host our events and classes as we try to keep them on a smaller scale and will be adhering to social distancing protocols. However, it is ultimately the decision of our individual trainers as to whether or not they will cancel classes. In the event that a trainer would decide to cancel a class they will contact you as soon as possible and also post on this page.
We have hand sanitizer available to use and wipes available if you would like to wipe surfaces prior to touching. We have replaced all of our soap with antibacterial hand soap and urge everyone to wash their hands frequently. We do ask for anybody who is not feeling well to please stay at home. We have increased our regular cleaning procedures and are using products approved from the CDC. We are frequently wiping down all surfaces and doorknobs and increased our mopping.
While there is no evidence that there is transmission between humans and dogs from COVID-19, we have increased our cleaning of our toys. You also have the choice of using a disposable paper bowl instead of our community water bowl. We also want to remind everyone that you are a welcome to bring your own dog toys from home if you have any concerns.
